He won't show up until the end. It was a totally parenting failure. After this shitty son around 15, they sent him to western region to study. His dad (previous seme) was busy with government affairs and sometimes away for some period. This shitty son turn to be so brat ngl.. he was pampered too much i guess.
And on early age he was sent to the battlefield. That's when he met the mistress. He was the prince from western region same like pei xingxu. He felt superior when the most beautiful prince submit to himself. He was indulged by him. Ugh... Idk why i still read this despite how shitty it is. He was always with the king. It just he wasn't the one who teach the son so he wasn't mentioned in the sequel.
