My two cents and it may be an unpopular opinion, but at a certain point in life your life, your lover becomes the most important person to you, more so than even your parents, so I don’t think it would have been selfish of Jinwoo to pick Sarang (his boyfriend) over his mother. If anything, the one that had the responsibility to hold the mother’s hand was her husband. That’s the man she picked to love, and he’s the one that dropped the ball. As for Jinwoo being harsh towards Seohee, I think he was actually too nice. She pulled a lot of $hit before he got tough on her. I think he needed to be firm with her from the beginning. She was the one being selfish, not him.
