i’ve read a lot of manipulative/red flag semes and i have a pretty high tolerance for them but this is so annoying. ml just makes the mc look pathetic, and it’s pissing me off all the more because mc just lets ml get away with it. like i would’ve dealt with this better if mc’s just plain naive but no he can make pretty rational decisions he’s just letting the ml drag him around the nose. i fw manipulation but not in this wack ass manner wherein everything’s going the ml’s way and the fact that it isn’t even clear if he has feelings for mc or not makes things worse
