I really like this, but I don’t think it really makes sense that both male leads fell in love with the FL. The main male lead falling in love with a “side character” is fun, but when the second ML fell in love with her it’s just the original story w a diff girl…
It also poses the idea that anybody could be the FL and both male leads would love her anyway.
I’d agree with your point if this was another story but I think it works here because the second ML originally started liking the OG FL because she inspired him to swim again, the FL is the one who inspired him to swim again here, so it makes sense that he would like her instead, since that was the inciting source of the crush + FL is also likable herself. It’s not that anyone can be the FL and the ML’s would love her anyway, it’s that our FL is in fact lovable in her own right, and they see that and so love her. It’s not like in other stories where they fall in love for seemingly no reason and you’re left rolling your eyes. Circumstances just turned out this way where they had a crush on her instead, life isn’t a novel where your loved is destined and there’s no way you could possibly love anyone else. Honestly the FL is kinda delusional for thinking it is like that

Glad to hear it lol. I get it, I’m a certified hater myself (having to wade through the 90% of these stories which are the same dumbass pushover FL’s and asshole controlling ML’s really ain’t fun), so when things don’t spark the inner hater they really stand out :D
I also don’t like stories where the mc ends up basically becoming the original FL and all the original MLs fall for her. Like, what was the point when it just becomes the same plot as the original but with a different flavor of girl? I still really like this story though and I feel like the depth of their love for Mc is definitely different. Like, ML really truly loves her while second male lead is just starting to be interested in her. I hope it stays like that and second male lead realizes he doesn’t love her and just had a small crush because of her words of encouragement.

Well in her perspective she went into the “romance novel” without inkling and warning on how it happened, so wouldn't she also be afraid of not knowing when she will go back to “reality” where yiwon and the other characters don't exist? I hate the trope where they were never from another world in the first place and actually just belong in the world or the novel. It just feels so boring and I also hope that she can eventually live with her original appearance. I have a feeling she is actually from that world and she will keep the boring ass blonde hair and green eyes :(
