anyway this is such a good read, the moment the last panel showed i feel like suddenly the lights inside the theater lit up and credits started to show up. u can tell how great this manhwa is when u feel like you are watching everything from a theater perspective and immersing yourself like when reading a novel both at the same time. hands down for this manhwa, one of the few that actually spooked me and made me feel like im sitting on the edge the whole time.

honestly its not as bad as i thought it would be. the plot has a loooot of potential, i expected a lot more pain coming from this but its okay compare to all of other yaoi manhwas out there. the only thing im kind of disappointed is the translations of the last chapters. its so confusing to understand but nevertheless im only reading this for free so i appreciate the translators. its a good read if u want a fast typical omegaverse yaoi.
aaahhh this is so frustrating. i feel bad for those who only read this manhwa. they left a out a lot of details. for now i just read until the first 10 chaps of the manhwa and here's what i noticed:
first, the pacing. goodness i can't believe how vague the scenes are portrayed than in the manhwa. they completely eliminated the character's specific descriptions and failed to emphasized their emotions which are the highlights of the novel.
our male lead— he's the best assasin that was raised by the head of the guild that is supporting petra's family (I'm bad with names so pls understand hehe). before the assassination happened, petra contacted the guild saying it was their last chance to prove their skills and loyalty (?) as they failed to assassinate the Princess many times, Petra is their biggest benefactor. so this time they sent the best assasin, he is not loyal to the guild but he have no choice but to obey because of the curse the guild master casted on him. so the night he tried to assasinate our mc, it was described that he hesitated to kill her as she is young and a woman. the guild did not gave him descriptions of who he has to kill, he was only given the location of the princess. when he tried to kill her, the Princess strong barrier that was almost impossible to penetrate so he failed the 1st try. the Princess was also startled because the barrier was shaken, and so she felt afraid for the first time that she can be killed which proved how talented the ml is. they kinda had a small talk before the ml tried to kill her again which actually broke the barrier but thankfully sid(?) arrived and managed to stop the ml on time. they had a long talk and for the first time the ml felt different of the Princess. the Princess here was actually surprised by how young anf handsome the ml is and made her think that the guild kind of like have a hidden gem (based on his looks and talent). it was also described that the ml felt hope which he thought he'll never get to experience until his death when he joined the guild. that's why he's fascinated with the princess and for now just observed her.
then after a few days the ml liked his life while the princess does not visit her, giving him the time to think. he thought that his life in the underground prison is a leisure as he get to eat a proper meal 3 times a day, a bath and comfy bed. but it was described that he wants to see the Princess and kept thinking about her, he's curious of what she'll do with him.
at the debutante ball, the wizard they found was from the streets. he was labeled as a fake but the Princess believed in his potential and so supported him, making him a talented wizard. he then entered the palace as a distant relative of sid so they can perform the nullification of the curse of the ml without the suspicions of the royal family. at the part where the princess saw gareth and the maid, nisha(?) the kid was introduced as gareth's younger brother. thus, the resemblance to petra. he was described as young and innocent, therefore he likes the princess and is not aware of the tension in the royal fam. the Princess took this advantage and used nisha to save the maid, this explains why she said to nisha that her crown is missing inside the garden.
when the crown prince and his vassals (??) went at the entrance of the garden, they heard a loud scream and cry of a woman, alerting everyone at the scene. the crown Prince have no intention of going inside the garden but had no choice because he was surrounded by a lot of people. then the knights went inside and arrested gareth, the prince put on a show thats why he slapped gareth. it was described that the clothes of the maid are torn apart too.
when the princess visited the ml to finally do the nullification of the curse, it was described that she is still wearing her outfit at the ball. the ml was fascinated by her appearance, making him stunned and his heart starting to beat faster (?). everyone inside the room was surprised to see how beautiful she is and how the moonlight accentuated her appearance.
the Princess also mentioned a lot of times to the ml about freedom and the reason why the ml trusted the princess is that because the princess really did what she said to the ml which is breaking the curse. this is the start of their more intimate relationship.
I'm kinda disappointed why this doesn't portrayed in the manhwa since this is one of the scenes i looked forward to read. and this is also the scene where the ml started to care of the princess and started to gain romantic feelings.
its also disappointing how they did not highlighted the cunning thoughts of the ml. he did a lot of grin, smirks and cute facial expressions when he's around the Princess.
