I don’t think the ML actually hated the FL I think he loved her growing up but because of her family and how she was raised to be the perfect empress the MlL didn’t trust her. She gave of a very obedient vibe in the first chapter that he probably thought that she would be controlled by her father. Now that he is seeing her strong side and a will he has never seen in her before he can’t help but have those feelings come back . He is still trash for the way he treated her.
