mikayuu is so real and idc what anyone says...the amount of moments we got and yet ppl still call it "family stuff" is amazing...like even kagami-sensei knows damn well what he's doing.

couple examples:
1. in an ova of ons, it is heavily implied and assumed that krul whispered to mika that yuu is a homosexual. in the scene the term homosexual is censored with asterisks, so maybe we'll never know. but the subs clearly put enough asterisks to spell out the word homosexual, in which mika blushes in reaction to that which only makes fans further believe about mikayuu

2. that one fucking scene in the manga, don't remember the chapter but yuu said that it felt good to have his blood sucked by mika whilst blushing. kagami knows what he did here and i stg if he does it just to bait and make this a shoujo romance manga of shinoa and yuu i am going to RIOT

ITA with you, but after what they did to Naruto/Sasuke with their forced marriages, I wouldn’t put anything pass manga authors :( However, I would LOVE for Mika to be restored and endgame with Yu! I only read this manga for Mika (and Yu - when he is not being gullible and stupid - which is rare).

forgot to add but the bond the two share is indescribable and incomparable to any other relationships we see in this series. like it's so blatantly obvious yet these authors somehow find a way to force the heteronormative in their works
