two of my closest friends are guys ive rejected in hs and we still call and game almost every night/tell each other abt girls/guys we talking to or asking for advice lol. some ppl dont take rejection as the end of the world and still see value in a friendship. if u would end ur friendship with someone bc they rejected u, thats highkey sad. i understand being upset, but that makes it worse for the one rejecting bc it seems like u were only friends with them to date them or that theyre pressured to say yes to you because if not you would unfriend them
If I'm in Danwoo's shoes, I might do the same. During that time Woori didn't blatantly said that he would stop pursuing him after being rejected. It's kinda way of saying Im now dating someone and very much happy, you should move on and find your happiness. Coz if Im friends with Woori, I wouldnt want him to still harbour feelings towards me that wouldn't come to fruitition.
