I liked this chapter no matter what everyone says, mainly because I think it shows how a person who grew up in a violent environment can normalice violence and fall in a never ending cycle of abuse in which Jaekyung who was the abused is now becoming the abuser. We have to consider also the fact that mixed martial arts became a way he could gain money so he prop normalized violence and consider it as a way of getting money. I'm not saying this to justify him but as something that I just wanted to pointed out. Jaekyung is terrible human being that even though he craves for love, disregarded Dan who was the one who could give him the unconditional love he never had in his youth. Anyways I still hate him lmao but I found very interesting this chapter xd.
He just doesn’t know what love is. He lacks compassion as someone who grew up in that kind of environment.
As someone who had lived a situation similar to the MC (I lent my sweater to a friend of mine and caught him lit sniffing it and I played dumb cause I thought It was just my imagination but he did that 2 times ) I have mixed feelings cause that's not a excuse to let someone get bullied however what he did was really creepy and somehow romantically disturbing
