Hi. You will get a notification, yes.
But you need to mark it as 'reading' or 'already read' (both work).
If you mark the manga as 'want to read', then you will NOT get the notification. (but it will be easier to find again)

If you have never gotten a notification, know they will show in the speaker's symbol, next to the mail.

If there's anything else just ask(=・ω・=)

Yes, as long as it's marked as 'now reading' or 'already read.' So simply bookmarking it won't do anything. The notification for updates comes only once a day, so for example if you've already received your notification, and you notice another manga that you're currently reading is updated, then you'll get the notification for that manga the next day.
