You know how insecure he is about the concubines. He constantly compares himself to them, even though he is considered a human god. But you his right hand and closest member of his sanctum would become one of the very people he feels the most insecure about AFTER lying straight to his face for god knows how long. Awful.

It has no understanding of life and death fully. He doesn’t understand what it’s like for life to be limited. In his mind it just makes their existence inconsequential and meaningless. They aren’t almighty beings so why should I understand them. He’s a pain in my ass and the most stupid creature.
Why are we even here talking about “trusting”? It’s clear this is a game lol. They all have their different ways of manipulating people. This one is sizing up his prey. Nothing more nothing less. The red head is a brute force kind of person while this one is a straight up predator lulling a poor mouse into false sense of security and our MC is being dumb. He knows who they are and still somehow thinks they’ll be friends. These people want to be seen as equals and be validated by Guwon. Jealousy is a vicious thing.
Your wife is so stressed she’s experiencing FHA (the medical term for prolonged missed periods due to stress) and you’re out here making it worse? Then you’re gonna turn around and do the same thing someone did to you and ruined your life and marriage. You put your feelings before the wellbeing of your wife and her healthy, sense of security and safety. Then DIVORCED HER! LEAVING HER WITH YOUR HORRIBLE CHOICES! And because you can’t face who you are now, you project all of your insecurities onto her. MC deserves the world.
He ruined both of their lives over and over again. Albeit he had good intentions. But as my favorite quote goes “the road to hell is paved with good intentions.” He’s continuously blaming MC for his shortcomings and bad decisions with money instead of being honest. MC could be living better even if she was still working all those jobs but because she’s still paying his debt she has no choice.
At least the character is consistent. He’s nothing if not persistent. Whether anyone likes it or not. So if the uncle thinks that he’ll lose interest now them at he’s grown and in love with his nephew, he’s got a better chance making it 5 light years across space and still being alive to see the destination.
