First of all, please excuse my english my sentences may not make any sense but i'll try to explain what happened
After they did all that stuff, ML told mc to tell him what he wanted from him (he thinks mc is only closer to him bc of his sister) and mc was confused, he didn't understand what he meant.
After that mc went to a conference and he saw ML and chef song arrive there together and he felt jealous. (He was like did they date before why did they come together) And then ML sat beside mc and everyone was like huhh, mc was confused too bc he sat beside him instead of his seat. Then mc asked if ml came to that conference just for him and he said "i wasnt originally planning to come here but i only came to see you so why should i not sit next to you?" then ml asked mc why he looked uncomfortable and he asked if ml and chef song dated before and ml said no? are you jealous, and mc bluntly said yes then asked if he had plans for the new years eve, ml said yes im busy that day, mc felt upset then ml kissed him on his cheek and they held hands secretly.

The next chapter, mc asked what was special about december 31th bc he saw ml's calendar in his office
He didn't tell him anything and mc was like why are you leaving me alone aren't we supposed to be dating? Then he went to ml's apartment, he saw ml's car was still there then he saw ml wearing all black and he felt anxious then he asked if ml was going to a blind date or something, ml said why should i go to a blind date i have no intention of getting married blah blah and then mc told him you were wearing all black the first day we met too and he asked if ml was going to a columbarium, ml said some philosophical shit and then mc asked "do you really want me to go? " And ml said "will you stay with me if i say so" Then mc opened ml's car door and sat.

Then they went to a lakeside and mc asked where were they and ml said an eco-friendly cemetery (this was the place he scattered his old childhood friend's ashes) He talked about how he was like a brother to him and he said how they both had to live alone bc they couldn't go to a orphanage if their parents were still alive and he mentioned how he always come here on new years eve to never forget about his old friend and how he lived before. Mc tried to console him and said stuff like " you might be all alone but you have me now so everything's fine right? " Then they went to eat dinner and mc bought lilies on the way home and asked ml give it to his old friend. After that mc said "you told me to tell you if i wanted something from you" ML felt anxious (he probably thought mc was going to say something different) Then mc hugged ml and whispered "i lost the game, chef kang, i love you"
