Yes I wanted to see Jaekyung cry, beg and suffer the way Dan did but nothing really happened and it’s not just that I think he didn’t suffer enough, it’s also the fact that his redemption arc was so poorly done.
I think good redemption arcs happen when characters have to give up or sacrifice something that meant a lot to them for another person, a cause, etc. That’s what makes me believe they truly changed and I do believe Jaekyung changed but at the same time, he didn’t really give up or sacrifice anything. He’s still a champion and he still got Dan too so the redemption arc feels shallow and underwhelming.
It also doesn’t help that Dan didn’t have any character development whatsoever. Jaekyung had a little more development but everything we learned about him came from his former coach telling the story, not from Jaekyung himself. So we never really got HIS perspective or learned why his “jinx” even started.
Also, Heesung and Potato disappeared, and Jaekyung’s ex? I thought maybe we would learn more about his past through them but no.
And Granny? I know she’s not dead but if the next chapter is the last one then what?
It all feels rushed and weird. I didn’t like it.
I like it. What I wanted to happen, happened. Jaekyung realized he was basically being a criminal and feels EMBARRASSED and GUILTY, as he should.
I liked it; it was okay.
I'm still mad that Jaekyung apologized only to sleep with Dan again but it is what it is.
I enjoyed the exchange with Heesung and the shopping and dinner afterward, it was nice to see them enjoying each other’s company.
Now, I hope that if Mingwa plans to introduce that old man, she creates a parallel between him and Jaekyung instead of using it as a cheap way to make Jaekyung look better.

So since it got canceled and the artist is a disgusting person. I don't feel bad saying this is the worst piece of garbage I've ever read and I read some of the worst garbage out there.
No story, no plot, no likeable character, just soft core porn for...someone...I don't know who can genuinely like this and read this because of the nonexistent story.
If this was a porno or a hentai then it..would still sucks because I think the story would somehow makes sense and be cohesive so yeah, this a complete waste of time.

I can't believe I kind of enjoy a Jinx chapter. It's nice to see some human emotions in both, Dan AND Jaekyung.
I like it, of course they have a lot to talk about and that, for me, would either make this great or just another BL when the MC ends up with the abuser...I mean we still have to hear a proper apology from Jaekyung.
Actually, I know what I just read...a psychological horror because there's is no way I read a romance or anything similar.
Rahui must be one the most pitiful FL I've ever seen and not only because of the abuse she was put through but because if she was in her right mind, she would've never fall in love with him and I doubt she is in love at all. She is just trying to survive and that's so sad because if she ends up with Lawrence, it means that she never had a chance to be free anyways.

Jaekyung fucking up constantly is realistic and in character for him, he doesn't have ANY resources to understand either what Dan is going through and what him was going through. It may not be the best environment for Dan and I doubt that Mingwa would add a therapist but it would be interesting to see but I digress.
Like I said, Jaekyung doesn't even understand what's going on with him so naturally he can't help Dan as he needed but I appreciate the effort.

Jaekyung isn’t going to change overnight. He’s still pushy, harsh with his words, a little clumsy, and comes off as mean. But I like that, because it shows he’s trying hard and wants to change, not just for Dan, but for himself too. When he said “Forget my jinx,” it meant that Dan is as i important as his jinx and his career, but that those aren’t the only things he has anymore. Now he has priorities, and that’s what helps a person grow.
That said, I saw comments saying he’s basically forcing Dan to be with him again and yes, he is. But that’s the only way he knows. He’s desperate because he knows he is one bad day away from losing Dan forever. He wants a chance, and he’s going to create it.
Mingwa may have disappointed me with some chapters, but this one was great, really good writing and characterization.

It makes sense now why Jaekyung didn’t tell us about his past, because even he knows it means nothing. What he did to Dan, he did in the present, so naturally he needs to reflect on that and figure out how to fix his mistakes. Not once he use his past to excuse his behavior and THAT tells me he is willing to change, for the better, for Dan.
That’s the kind of reflection and development I was waiting for. Such a good chapter!

It makes sense why Jaekyung turn out to be a freaking a$$hole but so? Nothing in these 3 (that's way too many) chapters justified or tells WHY he chooses(because it was a choice) to be such a d!ck to Dan.
I suggest y'all re read but if you don't want to:
1. Uses Dan's financial situation to manipulate him
2. Exposes Dan to a stranger while having s3x because he was "jealous"
3. Had s3x with Dan after he was badly injured and it caused his rear to tear.
4. Accuse Dan of trying to sabotage his match without having any proof
and that's half of it, he has no redeeming qualities whatsoever and I'm not saying this just because, I want to see what Mingwa is going to do because it's a hard one and it takes a good writer to know how to make the audience believe their deserve to be together. If after this Dan's warms up to him then this is not worth it anymore.

The only nice thing I can say its "that's rough buddy" but are we forgetting he exposed Dan to a stranger? He let a stranger watched them having s3x without Dan knowing, that's abus3 and it was never brought up again. I bet Mingwa doesn't even remember it then again, its not Jaekyung who's telling us his story, its the coach so we still don't know anything about him.
