I read the whole thing and it was a struggle. I can appreciate the effort that went into it, but overall all of the characters weren’t very likable. The story was kind of all over the place and I just kept reading waiting for it to get better. I’m sure there are people who find it an enjoyable read, I’m just bummed to say that I wasn’t one of them.
I like that Jooin is trying not to be a pushover but I’m tired of the shift of trying not to make Yahwi seem like an abusive asshole.
I’m shocked so many people hating on Cain, boy really is trying to be supportive and actually seems to care about Jooin’s feelings. It sucks he’s probably scared Jooin will think he’s mental. Sad his family is trying to dictate his life and going about things the wrong way because they are worried for him too. I think it would be nice if Jooin and Cain could end up together, but the author is going the abuse-reasoned and now ok redemption arc for Yahwi and Jooin. Ew. Ending up with that first abusive bf is a sucky story.
