he got hurt by his mom :( When she was younger during a heat his mom got assaulted and got pregnant with him, he didn't find out until much later. But she would switch between showing him affection when sober and beating him harshly when drunk.

One day when she was drunk she confessed that she doesn't love him and that the pregnancy just happened, she didn't want him to be born. After that Dane thought that maybe she was telling the truth that day. One day, Dane got a really bad fever and went to bed. He woke up to his mom choking him. Turns out he was manifesting into an Omega and the mom thought it would better if they both die so he wouldn't have to suffer the same events she did living as an Omega. Dane shoved her off and lost consciousness (due to the fever). When he woke up she had already committed :(

After that trauma Dane's ability to love seemed to have shattered. Forgot to mention that a little before the tragedy with his mom took place he had a girlfriend that he wanted to propose to and marry. She was never mentioned again after the incident but her existence goes to show that Dane would've developed normally if it weren't for that trauma

Forgot to mention that his mother was assaulted by a group of men. She tried to get them prosecuted by they were found not guilty because technically she "consented" to it since she was in heat (ugh) After that her parents kicked her out of the house and disowned her because they were very religious and got mad at her for getting pregnant even though she didn't want it. Dane suffered a lot but the mom also had it really rough. Never excuses abuse but it does make you understand why she ended up the way she did

Oh no I feel so sad and hurt for her and dane unfortunate circumstances. Death to those disgusting men that ruined not just only one life but their innocent children as well

Yes and the characters are so expressive and we actually went deep into the emotions and personality of the characters here it's very good because we actually kept up with them.
I was kinda disappointed in kiss me if you can, sadly half of the novel was just smut instead of the smut they could have tried to show us the emotions and expressions but it lacked so much I really wanted to feel chase and Joshua emotions and we never got it, they overloaded it with smut sadly. I love desire me if you can because of the fact they made the characters expressive, emotions and growth I wish we got it in kiss me if you can

To be honest he isn't afraid of people knowing that he's a dominant omega, he just thinks it would be bothersome (alphas lining up, special treatment at work, because he's an omega etc.) So due to the fact that he hates bothersome things he says he's a beta and compared to put up with that unwanted attention, moving is less bothersome. So yeah his reason isn't that deep

If he really isn't afraid, he should get his head checked.
It wouldn't be a problem if they knew that he was am omega, but a dominant omega is a whole different story.

Why would he be afraid? He is the Dane Striker, people are afraid of him, like Joshua he's one of these rare omega who can defend and fight for themselfs

Only dominant alpha x dominant omega guarantees 100% dominant children. And dominant omegas are extremely rare and difficult to find.

And don't forget those dominant alphas generally have gamma bodyguards, pheromones won't work on them.

Sure Dane and Josh can fight, but others can fight, too. And there is also the number one is against.
You might saw Josh hit Grayson in one of the lastest chapters of KMIYC, but that is because he let him. If Grayson wanted to fight back it would have been a totally different story.

I do get your point, but you underestimate Dane a lot, he's everything but a typical (dominant) Omega. I'm not saying that he would win again a big group of dominant Alphas and Gammas at once, but he's not stupid. He knows how many people he can take on and when it's time to "run", so he's not afraid. He get's into physical fights with Grayson in the coming chapters and pisses him off, but can still stand his ground (of course Joshua would've struggled far more)

Dane is strong and capable, no question. But Dane underestimates Grayson, by a large margin, since Grayson is not a normal dominant alpha. When Grayson declares selfdefense he is surprised what a though oponent Grayson is, since he had military training and thought of Grayson as a civilian, even if he was a dominant alpha, would be easy to beat. But still Grayson never went all in. In a later chapter we see one time what Grayson is really capable of, and do something like that in the condition he was in at the moment is truely frightening.
Another thing is that actually in no situation Grayson needed saving, he could have gotten out by himself everytime. If Dane didn't knock him out it that fire, he would have escaped not problem. And there was a later situation where Grayson was depressed.
Honestly, if Dane wasn't a dominant omega, and would have to face Grayson if he went all in (which he normaly doesn't, since he is not allowed to kill), he would have lost.

Sure, Grayson is stronger and as a Beta, Alpha or normal Omega Dane wouldn't stand a chance, but he is a dominant Omega and knows how to use his physical strength in combination with the advantages of a dominant Omega to knock Grayson (or others) out before he'd even get the chance to rip out his spine.

No women were married who Grayson slept with. They were all single, they just wanted to taste of a Dominant Alpha so they slept with Grayson
