Why is he still chasing after his father man. If somebody hurt me like that, I wouldn't want to chase after him. What's his logic behind it? It makes no sense.
It makes sense. Many abuse victims tend to want to see regret or some form of love from thei abusers, especially its strong when it comes to parents. Woo has seen the good and bad side of his father, we’ve only seen the bad.
It makes lots of sense. It's extremely common for victims of abuse to defend/forgive their abusers repeatedly because the abusers used to be nice and loving in the past. The victims will think "I know deep down they're a good person." Why do you think so many people stay with their abusive partners? They don't stay with them for fun. They stay because they have good memories and are hoping someday they'll be good to them again.
I guess this is understandable from the victim's pov since they can't move past their trauma. He needs serious therapy man.
If he can't help himself from going back to his father, then I hope his father disappears from this earth so he can finally be free from this shit.

Yeah totally agree. Having a parent that runs hot and cold is exhausting and pretty abusive. Speaking from experience
