Well humans are complex. Don’t dwell on someone else’s psychology too much as it can be complicated. You cannot really please everyone either. Also I wouldn’t really consider this story to be a perfect trans rep either since Tachibana changed to female biologically through magic. I mean her old body literally melt and reshape to a female once lol. That is ofc magic not surgery. I guess that is why people think it is not really a trans rep.
