From a discussion thread I read, the author wrote multiple endings. One about returning home and others about ending up with someone. If this is true, I will only take the return home future as the truth and everything else is a fanfiction!
the whole reason why the author is making her so inlove with hajin is so when she finds out the truth about the brothers she crashes (at least that’s what happens in the novel)

ikr i get so irritated on everything she does and think that's related to Hajin and that's like pretty much every appearance she makes.
