i keep rereading this because it's such a breath of fresh air to see two people think and act like adults with adult anxieties and the emotional maturity of adults in one of these things. so many other bl stories are written like they're about kids or teenagers in adult bodies, or just scummy weirdos. this is how you write something properly without having to manufacture overblown drama by creating characters who act like idiot children. i'm so satisfied uwu
