Lia’s identity is revealed around the 130-140 chapters, her dad the grand duke created a spell that allows him to track blood relations but not by blood dna test but by magic dna test. A priest who is friends with the duke came and revealed Ria’s true appearance but only for a bit because of the strong magic on the pendant. It was then that Ria was revealed to be the long lost daughter. And of course her mom regretted how she treated Ria, but her regret didn’t last long enough for it to become an arc or even for a few chapters. Ria easily forgave her mom and her bad treatment to her prior to finding out was swept under the rug.

May as well just drop this, almost every character is dogshit. Like, people have been complaining about the old man, but hell, he is one of the FEW characters I actually get behind to at least SOME degree.

In terms of the manhwa, Lia being revealed is actually pretty close but in the novel it is around the 130-140 chapters but mostly in the 130s I just forgot what exact chapter it is in

Yea it was kind of lackluster, because there wasn’t any awkward tension between Ria and her mom due to her mom’s harshness. Like her mom did regret her actions, but how it was portrayed was terrible since imo the author should’ve at least make a few chapters of Ria being scared or uncomfortable with her mom for a bit until she was comfortable again. Kind of to signify how hurt Ria was because she’s spent both lives wishing for a family.

Yeah. Not just that. Imagine you suspect someone to be the mother you have longed for, only to discover that she's a piece of shit as soon as she sees a child that isn't hers. She's a piece of shit even towards you, until she conveniently finds out you are, in fact, her missing daughter. I'd 100 % reject her and make her regret it. Wanting a mother is one thing. But she never had one and can wait a few more days. This experience of getting burned would have stayed with her.

No no no, it's definitely in this arc, that's why i love this story, because it's kinda fast paced.

Right now it's chapter 112 in novel. So chapter 130 it's not that far away.
