That's relative, deepnds on how much toxicity are you used to/ can handle because for me this one's pretty tame trope wise while pretty heavy serious psychological exploration wise and has better writing than most. This isn't like a serial killer or mafia romance or has a lot of sadism or anything. If you compare it to some popular ones this is tonally more mature and doesn't counter the serious stuff with a ton of fluff, and it's also crime thriller, so that's good to keep in mind too.
