For me I tend to be around these, not always like this with my family though
Friends: Mama-bear mode, Just there in the circle, Therapists assistant, Quiet until someone isn't alright, "egg".
Family: Still Quiet, Reliable ( does chores and stuff), "Je suis fatigue". reply
Whatsapp in my books is like grandma technology so its probably best for you to stick with the other sources you've labeled like Line, Discord, or Teamspeak if you want.
Skype is a pretty good option too only if you know the person or people well enough, Skype and Google Hangouts or just Plain Messenger would be the best.
