I’m just barely reading this right now but is Ayla a bad person? Or is she just like a normal girl who’s pure hearted. And like is the guy with the white hair like ever gonna love the ml? Like in the novel. Just wondering because barely in chp 2 and I’m feeling angry for her for some reason.
im currently only around chapter 180-190 in the novel,,, so based off what i know so far alya is neutral. shes basically just an observer who lets everything that gareth does to thalia slide, and sees thalia as a waste of time etc. i wld just say shes neither evil nor good.

yes, varkas does love thalia, in fact shes basically his light in this world since the beginning. its just very hard to tell so far in the manhwa b/c of his traumatic past/inability to clearly display his feelings.

when her legs get crushed, no she wont die. but yea apparently she does die very later on in the story,,, however ive seen some comments saying shes alive now? idk i cant confirm this since i havent read up to that point sooo
One of the best reads I’ve read this year, I totally recommend people too really read this in one sitting to really soak in the story and too really understand what each character has to go through/experience, and to really read the authors goodbye note thing or whatever you call it because what they had said abt the characters and about life it’s very true and like to really embrace the people around you. Like for example Mira, she’s sad and has like a trauma about mori getting old and I feel like it’s all parents worrying about their kids future, them getting old and themselves getting old as well, and I feel like time goes so fast that parents don’t realize how quickly their children are growing and I just like want everybody to really create memories with everybody, take pictures of stuff so that you could remember the days. And too really be in the moment. ( kinda long rant sorry if it doesn’t make sense )

Someone recommended me this and I truly can’t believe the amount of times I had cried and how attached I was with the characters, and how war is really shaped in the story. And the way the characters had such a great development with themselves and how they really got to show improvement. ╥﹏╥

Reading the comments about the novel is just horrendous, like jiwook literally will have no one to talk too, have trust issues, and will have like trauma and like yeah he probably deserves it cause of he’s past but I have like pity for him cause he’s going through a lot of shit rn, And like yeah we haven’t known about what he truly did in the past but it’s just hard for me to really read how he got gang r@ped, and is supposedly going to get gang r@ped again by he’s friend and one of the same people who gang r@ped him..
