There's a test, an engagement party, and new characters appear~
So basically this is their transition to something more, since taisei is slowly falling for jasper~

Volume 3(major spoilers, read at your own risk)
Basically jasper's mom encountered taisei when taisei and peridot's partner were shopping for their senpai's birthday (the new omega chara introduced in vol 2) by pseudo-kidnapping him while he was walking and cornering him in an alley.
she freaking yeeted his collar, causing strangulation marks as she freaking lifted taisei with one hand saying shit like "filthy omega" And "you don't deserve to wear their family crest". Elitist and nobility type of bull.

Course when they were at school they got taisei checked, and jasper was fuming. He offered his hand to taisei so that they'll go and confront his ma, which taisei subtly rejected saying he needs more time to process his feelings.
He became afraid of a lot of stuff, mostly the threat from his mom and him being completely an omega, but he came to terms with it since at the end of the day he wanted to be with jasper(also thank you for the MC of the novel he is so cool, he simply told our taisei "you already like him, right?" And our boi realized none of the other labels mattered) Then barabing baraboom our boi confesses and jasper got the cutest face, and then taisei asks for his hand and proudly declares "let's go to your home"

Next scene is the mansion of jasper where the mom was. Taisei asks if they can talk, and the mom led them to her favorite place, the garden.
She offered them tea and she asked them what their basis was in being together and stuff, told jasper that he was the next in line for the duchy and he already made two mistakes, and that he was in charge of heavy responsibility with only the king above them and others not (ugh) when the two were adamant in being together, ma snapped and tied jasper and taisei with her vines, knocking jasper unconscious.
She talked to taisei, asking him what did he want? Money to last a lifetime, to be a viscount?
But noo our boi didn't what those. He just wanted to be with jasper.
She made a bet with him, that if they were serious and truly in love with each other, he didn't need to use his pheromones at all and see if jasper would still choose him despite that.
She offered him a vial that lets him block his pheromones, but he needed to drink it forever or else he will turn into bubbles (lil mermaid is that you??) She told him the time limit is 1month, with no antidote, and she'll see if they're serious or not.
Our boi drinks it ofc, even though he had a sliver of doubt, and their agreement cannot be known to jasper or else the deal is off

Next chapter, jasper asks what happened to taisei, since he woke up the next day and doesn't know taisei's deal with his mom. He says that everything's fine, and not to worry. He wanted to ask jasper what did he like about him, but before they were able to talk school happened and they agreed to meet at the library. On the way an omega in heat showed up near jasper, and jasper went out of control. Taisei saw and he forcibly separated the two, but he heard jasper out of mind saying he wanted to make the girl pregnant. He shoved him out of the room where omegas stay safe in case of emergencies, and was taking care of the girl, but the girl took a heat inducer; making the second gender in taisei haywire, slowly trying to become an alpha, but he resisted, trying to still control the girl. But the girl insisted, opening the door herself and then jasper...*sighs. He bit her. Before the marking was done the other guy alpha friend (other than peridot) took jasper down, and the omega senpai was there.
At the infirmary
The girl was later known as ella, and she was bribed by the mom to seduce jasper for wealth, since their family was poor.
Jasper was furious, and told the girl that for the shit she did which failed, his mom will def try to silence her. Jasper didnt give a shit about her and wanted to retaliate but the other alpha friend suggested they make a bluff; make it seem like the seduction worked and then reverse trap his mom.
Taisei was like "its cool, since i trust jasper"(awww) but he was ofc getting quite antsy. Since he wasn't protected by jasper anymore he was slandered left and right by mobs, and ger this, that freaking mf of a girl had the audacity to talk to taisei and told him she fell in love with jasper; he made her feel safe, unlike when she was a nobody omega from a poor noble house, she was no longer ostracised and everybody fawns over her (bitch!) She asked our boi to break up with him, and ofc they had to be at the stairs when they where talking. Ofc our boi said no, but the girl grabbed his arm and when he rebuffed her arm away she had to fall(drama queen)
Taisei was getting anxiety from all the stares, and now that girl accused him of pushing her off the stairs. Jasper saw the scene of his "gf" at the floor, ofc acting and all he had to look like he cared, and he had to ask if taisei did it, when he knew that he will never do it. Mob characters whispering "fight between omegas", "if you can't commit to being an alpha's plaything then don't try at all" shit that makes you mad.
Our boi covered his ears and was running away, hurt, anxious, and he couldn't get jasper's face out of his head questioning him. with the last panel showing his fingertips slowly being bubbles
