Well yeah Dane is trying to hide his secondary gender. But tbf Grayson has done stuff to others that could warrant a death attempt or two like the whole thing with Chase and the dog. From my perspective I think I expected her next story to have "matured with her" as an author, but instead it kinda went the BJ Alex/Jinx way where the tops never really care for their bottoms much and reading these sorts of stories is like "carrot and stick" where the reader is always hoping the stories are gonna go somewhere and the tops develop remorse and affection, but nothing happens and it's not fulfilling even when it ends. If that makes sense lol.
