SPOILER : Bro I can’t believe the whole reason they met was thru a slave auction like they did a pretty good job in making me forget about it until man starts mentioning how he’ll pay him back the 300 million yen (which btw is 2 million dollars which is crazy cause when he said” that’s too much!” are you telling me each person is at least a 100 thousand dollars!?) not only that the author tries to save it by making it seem like it’s a good cause with the weekly check ins and making sure it’s consented, but you’re asking consent to a bunch of children who may not understand how they just sold their own freedom. Like I guess I give the author props on making a unique first meeting like I want to love the first couple but my gosh they’re first meeting is a no like I want the second couple. Which btw I almost died laughing with how the power of sex just rejuvenated this man to change for the better like dang didn’t realize how powerful it can be

My friend is heading towards the Yandere genre (which, btw, I'm a little bit scared as I'm enabling it, but he's harmless.... I think), and he wanted some recommendations.
I'm trying to remember this manga where the girl is the yandere, and the boy is the MC. It starts with them in elementary, where the yandere kills off the boy's friend/interest. It then time skips to when he's in high school, and the yandere tortures the one girl friend/interest he made after he pushes everyone away, especially girls as he's scared she might kill them ( which she did but tortures them instead).
She then goes away, and they haven't seen each other for like 10 years? Throughout the years, he's been tormented by the memory of her and wants to kill her. But, when he finally gets the resolve to do it ( thanks to his high school interest sister (she wants revenge on her sister for being tortured and being depressed)), he visits her but finds out she lost her memory.
If anyone remembers, please let me know. It's been on my mind, and I feel like this is a good enough manga to scare him away from the genre
I get the betrayal and the hurt for the lack of faith she had towards him but let’s be real. The people he should’ve aimed his revenge towards to has to be the adults that framed him. Like even he understands that she was a child that not only lacked proper awareness but was also following what the adults were telling her. She was a kid, and were with those adults for a long time. Even I would’ve been tricked. Like he should’ve understand that they were both kids manipulated by the people who were supposed to protect and nurture them. But, yeah sure let’s blame the child
It seems more about expectations. There was never a chance with the adults. But Sophie gave him hope then crushed it. Even if it was manipulation, she betrayed him.
