If you're curious about the whole trial, here's what happened:
(Warning: Super long. )

Nephthys was brought in by Horus to testify regarding Set's rule. She confessed that the reason why Set became mad was because she had an affair with Osiris and that she loved him(which I think is a lie and she was just saying that to lessen Set's punishment).

(Speculation here: Isis fainted because she did not anticipate Nephthys to come and for Anubis's curse to reveal in front of everyone - rendering her unable to control the situation)

Nephthys also said that Set never imprisoned her and that she imprisoned herself and Set had always left the prison doors open, so she could leave whenever.
So Nephthys starts crying and states that it's all her fault, trying to convince the Ennead that she's the reason to Set's madness and that Set's punishment be lessened.

This is where Ra (the baddass, the legend) brings down her whole argument. Ra states that they're GODS. They are not bound by human traditions. Something as menial as cheating shouldn't bring all this chaos. (which Thoth retaliates with "Things have changed, Ra." but got a staredown (lol) ) Ra also questions why she's only asking for Set's forgiveness when Isis is also an involved party. Shouldn't she be begging for Isis's forgiveness as well?
And once again, Ra inquires about the night of Osiris's murder and suggests Set's heart be put on the scale.
This triggers Set and he starts laughing in madness. He screams to them to basically just kill him and he breaks out of his chains.

This is where Isis's dillemma comes in. On one hand she wants revenge against Set for making her miserable all those hundreds of years..On the other hand, she also knows Set is as much of a victim of Osiris as she is. Seeing Set miserable like this, she does pity him.

Then Horus (the best boi that he is) "subjugates" Set by faking to knock him out so Set doesn't have to speak about his experience.

Isis debates on whether to speak about what happened that night now that Set's "out of commission". Osiris's honor will be stained and Set's rape will be revealed (which is obvious to her that Set DOESNT want to reveal -even stating he'd rather die)

Isis proposes to Maat to destroy Set's soul. (It's her revenge against Osiris is to destroy Set's soul so he can never claim him in Duat.)
Ra argues against it and says it'll be a waste to kill her "cute great-grandson" and proposes to Maat that it would be more beneficial if Set boards the Sun boat with her.
Nephthys also argues against that and brings up the lost souls Set has slaughtered. She pleads his punishment just be him collecting the souls he cut.

Set cuts the facade and stands up. He states that he's ready to take any punishment they have for him.

Maat delivers the final verdict:

"Set, this is all the sins you have committed.
Your sins, accumulated for hundreds of years, are so deep and heavy not even this papyrus can contain all of them.
Among them, the sin of disturbing the order of life and crushing numerous souls is a felony that shakes the foundations of Egypt.
However, if there is still a way to save those poor souls, this cannot be overlooked. This chance that I will give you is not for you, but for those souls.

I hereby decree!
Set, God of War and Dessert.
All of your achievements and praises be cleared.
Set's temples, priests, and sacrifices will be disposed of by the God of Magic, Isis.

The evil Set has committed countless sins and will be bound by this sentence.

You will have a probation period before your sentence is executed.
Collect the souls you have crushed during this grace period.
Let them do their best to release their curse and correct the order of life.
If by any chance you harm another human soul, this probation will end.
If you succeed in assisting all the souls and restore the cycle of death, you shall board the Great Sun Boat and row for all eternity.

If the souls are not collected and the cycle is not restored, the demon Set, shall be destroyed forever.

You will not have the power of Godhood to assist you.
Only through atonement will you receive the answer of the sand.

As a Demi-God, not the God of War and Dessert.
Look up at the world from the lowest, look back on your sins and repent.

This is the ENNEAD.
This is our verdict."

Maat proceeds to confiscate Set's godhood powers and ends with:

"Through this,
the ENNEAD trial is dismissed."

ive just reread this story in its entirety, and its left a different impression on me compared to when i was reading it as each chapter was posted. i think that i knocked it too hard the first time because i missed what usui iroha was really trying to convey. i suggested that it was plain and lacking in character detail. i was wrong.

what usui iroha illustrates in this manga is the thrill of changing yourself to be better. to feel something different and new. this is placed under many fine layers of eroticism and introspective thinking, which i am surprised to see be executed well together considering the simple, lewd nature of most erotic BL in the first place.

yuumas change comes in the form of finding who his inner self really is. id say his crush on ryohei kickstarted it very well, as he initiates breaking away from his strict academic lifestyle (living for his dad and not himself really) in order to pursue what he wanted. im very proud of yuuma. he wanted to develop himself and become freer in order to become somebody he deemed worthy of ryohei. that shows me that yuuma wants to understand himself in order to change himself regardless of the context. im very proud.

ryoheis change comes in the form of what i would essentially call luck. his idea of liking somebody was shallow because he only ever entered relationships with the premise that it would end. however, being affected by yuuma forced ryohei to think about what he really thinks and feels, instead of letting himself fall victim to circumstances of misunderstanding and convencience. i was proud to see him come to swallow his wall of pride and ask yuuma to date instead of continuing to will yuuma to ask him instead. ryohei is very good at loving, so im glad that hes getting what he deserves from yuuma.

whilst the erotic love was pleasurable, and certainly not wasted, i would like to see them strengthen their platonic love on top of that. i think that platonic love is very important now that theyre officially dating.

I don't understand why people seem so disheartened in the comments about this latest chapter and the perceived lack of progress between our two main characters.

This chapter was clearly broken off the previous one, so it was just a continuation of an event that would not resolve an ongoing conflict in just one or two chapters.

I would have found it jarring if SH professed love for NK five chapters into the new season, or for NK to understand what the hell is going on with him and the feelings that SH is currently provoking in him.

NK's character should be very clear since many can relate to feelings of insecurity, if not the full blown low self-esteem NK suffers from. He isn't even proud of the immense God given talent he has because it is attached to erotic images of a homosexual nature and the scorn of the man he deeply admires.

Neither NK, nor SH are at a point to either analyze what they are going through (in NK's case he would need someone he trusted to guide him through this and THAT is not a thing available to him) or let go of one's pride enough to admit out loud that they care/love a person that does not love them back (eyes on SH).

It is pretty clear that SH's bullshit meter was fully turned on after the storm calmed for a bit and he knew that NK was not being honest. And that demand for honesty is rich coming from SH who appears to have attempted to talk himself out of his care for NK by calling what they have good enough or something along those lines.

SH has been enjoying himself with NK so much that the bastard has yet to realize that he isn't seeking the ridiculous amount of lovers he was whoring his way through on a daily basis (seriously, I think viagra was created with SH's genes).

NK is doing what is logical to do when you are confused about unwanted and confounding feelings for the person that has kidnapped, violated and threatened you. Think of the conflict that would rage through you. NK had a low view on nobles and SH didn't do much to endear himself to NK or remove this poor view from NK's perspective. He has no one to talk to and when he finds someone he can share his thoughts he has to keep in mind that these people work for SH. The one person he revered and loved told him to his face he knew NK's plight but saw it as something self serving and turned a blind eye. He even turned on NK, removing his kind mask to show the disdain he held at wasting his time with NK.

If these characters have something in common it is that they are both very stubborn and the fact that they have very real barriers to hold them off against trusting each other makes it more difficult for each to open up.

They are going to have to give up something. Whether it is NK's fear and doubt or it is SH's jealousy and pride only time and the events as they unfold in the future will tell.

I read a comment that pointed out that something would have to happen for some progress to come (a.k.a. the nameless assassin hired out by Jihwa) and I agree. Depending on WHO gets hurt we will see WHO relents.

As much as people bemoaned NK's rape by SH and how NK should do this, that or the other to SH, I find it fascinating that many want a quick resolution to the very real conflict between them.

I don't think SH himself doesn't see that his treatment of NK so far is an obstacle for him to overcome. I think that's part of the reason why he keeps trampling forward like an angry bull. He must see it as: "Well, he already expects the worst from me, so I have nothing to lose" or "I already f'd this up and can't fix it." But you can also see the softening and sometime tenderness that arises from him when NK moves him. He must have NK. "Why? I won't ask myself that. He pleases me at this time." Let's just gloss over that he has changed his "nightly habits" for NK and NK alone.

NK is not Jihwa: confident, beautiful, seductive and practiced. So why NK? SH's pride as of this moment won't let him answer. Add InHun to the mix and you have more angry denial from him as a shield to protect himself with.

These characters surrendering to each other this early on would not feel earned and with all that has happened it needs to be.

Am I the only one very confused as to why working in the porn industry is seen as a terrible, awful thing to be ashamed of? Don't get me wrong, what Creed did to Ryan was a bit fucked (assuming Ryan wasn't into it), and the true villain in Ed having to turn toward porn in the first place is the US healthcare system, but porn isn't innately awful. It is as awful as the company allows it to be. Assuming the company doesn't allow *real* rape to happen (only consensual non-consent) and no one feels pressured to do anything they're not comfortable with, it's not a bad thing. Sex for money isn't inherently an evil thing.

I dunno, it just doesn't sit right with me that, except for Jennifer and the other woman, no one in the story seemed to acknowledge that it isn't porn's fault but Creed using people's feelings to share his artistic visions. It was also Chang's fault for making Ed so desperate he had no choice but to turn to porn, making him uncomfortable with being involved in it in any way, especially in something that became so popular since Creed himself was popular.
