Put this on-hold, dunno if I should continue it, it's not because of the relationship that's putting me off rather when I first started the story it drew me in quickly, I had an expectation but obviously didn't know what the plot would be about but if I was to compare my initial first readings and the plot now (I've skipped here and because I don't have time to read it all but I do have an idea of how things have progressed), it's probably not as exciting as I hoped?

AHAHAHAHA definitely interesting why all the comments are on the relationship lol incest vs non-incest, but even if they aren't blood-related since she's adopted into the family she is technically 'siblings still' and family, just my opinion, but I have read incest ones before hehe not a hater but the only thing that's a tad bit weird is the idea that the sister looks like the actual dead sister of the bro... so.. =.=;;Σ( ̄□ ̄||)

I've said this before, but Hari and Arina DO NOT look alike. They resembled each other as children because Arina was thin and sickly and Hari was malnourished, but that resemblance disappeared in one year, as Hari finally got regular meals. Their facial features (in the novel) and eye color are different; the only thing they have in common is hair color.

Plus, the only one who thought that Hari and Arina looked alike in the novel was the mother, who was suffering from psychosis at the time. If the two actually resembled each other more, don't you think there would be more Arina flashbacks? Since looking at a girl who resembles their dead sister will certainly make them remember Arina more? Especially for Erich.

dude chill okay --- this is just my opinion--- just like what u say that's ur opinion, if they look the same to me, that's just my perspective! I'm not replying to ppl and forcing my opinion on them chilll ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Plus that whole relationship isn't even my main reason to putting it on-hold ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I understand your point, and you are perfectly within your rights to drop any story that you find no longer engages your interest. I have no intention of trying to change your mind (frankly, the novel just isn't that good).

My only intent was to correct a common misunderstanding here that comes up as often as the "ew, incest" posts. I am not trying to force people to "see my point of view," but instead warning them that the artist seems to be suffering from Same Face Syndrome, and makes people envision things that are not actually issues in the novel (which has been fully translated).

Your "opinion" (regarding appearances) is one based entirely on the artist's portrayal of the two characters in the webtoon, which is perfectly valid and understandable. This perception is further heightened by having Arina only appear at a time when Hari most resembled her. It is common for the people who see these scenes in the webtoon to believe that the two characters continue to resemble one another as Hari grows up, which is not the case as the novel explicitly states that Hari shares no physical resemblance with any member of the Ernst family (barring hair color). Her only resemblance to the Ernst family is one of nurture, which is to say, her speech, attitude and bearing.
