Most alpha x beta I've read has the beta turn into an omega. I wish there was some real alpha x beta works tho. It's not just regular BL since there's some omegaverse commentary that can be explored particularly about the beta being self-concious about fated mates, not being helpful enough during ruts, etc. I think I've read one before where the main premise was the alpha found his fated mate but fought against his instincts in order to stay with his beta partner

Man I finally finished this all the way and can't help but fell in love more with 2nd couple. Main couple was so mature it made me think about my past relationships and it hurts me so much. Wondering if it could have been worked out if one of us decided to stay and try all the way. But anyway, it all ended so I'll just wait for future mine. I love the 2nd couple just because.
