Bro is literally a kid why yall be complaining is really something i dont understand and for the people saying that he only sees her as a sister yall clearly forgotten how some people are late to realize their feelings for another and how some uses an excuse of being something like "i see her as a siste" which is fucking common for petes sake
I don't get why you're being defensive about it, when that's a perfectly reasonable reason to not enjoy a romance subplot. From the beginning he's introduced as a brotherly figure, Sasha herself stating, "you've always been my older brother". And the relationship is further developed into a sister and brother romance. Especially considering that he was old enough to walk and talk, while she was 6 months old and crawling when they met. And the whole I see her as a sister trope is quite literally played out so many times, it gets boring just as it is frustrating. No one is hating on the character simply stating it is an overplayed trope, and is annoying since they were introduced as a sibling dynamic.
I understand its an overplayed trope but alot of stories uses it as well as other love tropes, like seriously even if it's with the 2nd ml, sasha sees him as a little brother too yet no ones complaining, as for the statement that he was old enough, its still a no, he's a literal kid who is forced to mature because of royal status, he even had no clue how to get sasha to like him (literally even gifted her gems cuz he thought it would please her). And again there hasn't been a clearly stated fact that the mikhail loves her, he thinks he clearly cares for her, cuz that's what teenagers do bruh, but in the later part he probably will, because why not, the kid has been traumatised and hated himself not until sasha came and stated he wasn't a monster, pretty typical but yeh. And as for no one hating him, Ive literally seen comments about mikhail being annoying or mikhail beeing to involved in a family he isnt a part of (this one literally pissess me off cuz bruh their family is a family friend and the boy is somewhat an orphan cuz of his parents dying, bro just wanted some love, have some empathy and leave the child alone) anyways what im basically saying that yes a love trope is over used but what any good story hasnt and if there is good for them, but we cant control how the story goes cuz its literally written by another person lol(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I completely understand where you're coming from, but I think you misunderstood my words. My saying that he was old enough, was me saying that it's normal for people to feel put off about the romance aspect when he had met her when she was barely crawling. He was 6 months old, while it didn't say his age specifically other than being the same age as her brother, who is 6 years old. NO, I don't hate their relationship, I understand that he loves Sasha and cares for her. I find that adorable! But I don't understand the romantic aspect of it, when from the ground up they treated each other as siblings. Labeled each other as siblings, and basically grew up with each other as such. I don't HATE the childhood friend trope, but if that was what the author was gonna do she should have gone about it in a way where it isn't uncomfortable. I don't know for others, but my reasoning for not hating the 2nd ml is because it isn't in my face that they have a sibling dynamic.
And again while Mikhail is 16,(correct me if I'm wrong pls!) Sasha will be 10. Ofc she's mentally older, but no one knows that.
Yes, we can't control how the story goes, but it's completely valid to complain about it. That's the freedom of reading, being able to express your thoughts on what you're reading.
As for the hatred towards Mihail, I don't agree with any of them! I simply understand where the ones that don't like the romance part come from.*

They both match each other's freakiness
