I’ve been searching for these two mangas without any luck and I’m finally turning it over to experts. I don’t know how accurate my memory is so I hope the descriptions make some kind of sense. Thanks so much for your help.
The 1st one is about 2 best friends they live in a small village or island. One is going off to college and says there isn’t anything to keep him there. The other is staying to run his family’s business & doesn’t tell his friend his feelings. I don’t think it’s complete or else I only read a couple of chapters.
The 2nd one I think is an older manga about 2 childhood friends who end up becoming lovers. One has a troubled life. His parents divorce. His mom is now focused on dating & ignores him. I think he drops out of school at least he moves out on his own. He has all sorts of problems, he might have become a prostitute & at one point he is gang raped. His friend stays by his side and tries to get him to turn his life around. His friend is eventually kicked out of his home when his parents discover that he’s gay and the two of them end up living together. The troubled one’s mom remarries and comes back into his life. The step-father who Is a photographer who helps the kid find a purpose in life through photography.
