Eh but i think there is a difference they may have been easy to manipulate with the potion but they didnt actually set her up.

I get that they want to make Remillia jealous by favouring Pina even believing her lies, but the main men didn't get punished as much as the other side characters other than being humiliated (especially Pina) when they're the one who had the most impact on what happened to Remi, look if they WERE aware on how others would look at Remi, they were aware how it would affect Remillia, what did Remillia do? Punish only the other woman and only humiliate the men.

Not to mention the original ending on the novel, and how the author of the novel justified the original ending on the novel because Pina deserved to be sexually assaulted, burnt and tortured because she was a slut but the men get away scot free? (I get that Pina is 19 years old, basically an adult who knew what she was doing but you can't justify that the men didn't get punished themselves just because they didn't know any better, they knew what they were doing even if they're trying so hard to be unaware of it, if they didn't, you could make the argument Pina didn't too.)

I think thwy were easy to fall prey because they were jealous but genuinely believed because of the affection spell that she did try and hurt pina. Although maybe not the brother feels like he knew he just stood by and didnt defend her . But pina was the plotter/antaginizer while they were just complicit by either being a bystander or believing pina without verifying. Like if this happened to me my target would be the person who made me a target.

Oh btw what i mean is the ending on the original novel, the author tried justifying it by writing that Pina deserved being sexually assaulted in the prison because she used to fool around with men in the school, (mind you the other side characters are bystanders too like Remillia's best friend but she also got imprisoned and tortured by Remillia) even then, your argument does sound logical but Remillia knows they only turned to Pina because they have a very big ego even in one of the chapters Remillia had a monologue that Williard only feels smart is that because he's with Pina and Remillia knew they picked Pina because of that ego and underlying jealousy. They're not just bystanders because they believed Pina's lies, they actually did prosecute Remillia during the ball on the first chapter and my second one, further humiliating her.

Seogeum never wanted tae in to take responsibility for him, he just wanted to be with tae in because he loves him and it was tae in's own choice to keep an eye on Seogeum by making him his manager and tae in may seem like pitiful guy to you but he did abuse and raped seogeum several times in the manhwa for being a pest when he clearly had no right to do abuse seogeum and simply could've reported seogeum to the cops.
