The Edith now is the 13th Edith. The Author/Liese has been possessing different souls into Edith. Those souls are those that are already suffering just like our current Edith (Abused/Killed by brother, cheated on by ex-bf, neglected by parents). The author enjoys seeing them suffer so she can feel good about herself. She’s really bad. She did a lot more bad stuff. Good thing that through out the story, Killian is freed little by little through Edith’s efforts. Killian will be the one to protect Edith in the most dire situations ;)
