anyone saying he should’ve been with the friend didn’t read the story properly because the mc NEVER liked him unfortunately…..also, the drastic change in the ml personality was a dud

He can’t unless he’s allowed to stay out of the room by himself and Juyeon’s either busy (sleeping or in the shower) or he’s just not home, and can sneak out the front door after stealing pants or he can risk it and go without pants and underwear (if the door’s not armed with an alarm system. Juyeon’s smart enough to put one in for a just in case situation I think).
If Jiwook just tries to dip now, Juyeon will be able to catch him and overpower him, especially since he’s now lost weight and is nowhere near as confident as he was before due to extreme stress and PTSD. Then he’s never leaving that red room again no matter what
I also doubt Juyeon would leave him alone with the cellphone too. He’d take it with him no matter what or he’d hide it somewhere while Jiwook is in the red room, so he wouldn’t even be able to call for help
