They have a decent following on social media and on patreon (I’m a patron). Just bc the artist is showing the story for free doesn’t mean they’re living paycheck to paycheck. She can totally monetize the story anytime she wants but that means she’s can’t monetize her social media or use patreon anymore. And I’m willing to bet those make more money than what tapas gives to indie artists
