I read it a while ago and really liked it, but I don’t remember it super clearly. Also, warning, spoilers ahead, as all I can remember is the ending. What I do remember is that at the end, the couple move to Europe (Germany, maybe?) for work or something, and the end was about daily life there. Also, I’m pretty sure that one of the partners died before the other and the final scenes were about the one left living out the rest of his days there. I’m pretty sure it was about 5-7 chapters long. If you can tell me the title, or the author, or even details that might make it easier to find, I would really appreciate it!
