This was one of my favorites to read. I would always come back every once and awhile to reread it but I'm done with it now. I refuse to read anymore after the author chose to destroy her already beloved characters just for a fucking cash grab. I understand authors need to make money but it doesn't need to be done by ruining their already completed and loved work.

I didn't hate it but I didn't like how pushy the ML was when it came to sex. Especially when the MC was crying because he thought the ML was cheating. He didn't even explain anything before trying to fuck him. Like dude, you can be happy your boyfriend feels jealousy over you but you should want to clear up the misunderstanding when he his so distressed he's crying about it.
This is one of my favorites but no matter how many times I read it I still get pissed that no one tells Lerazie off. I can't say for the future Hamel foresaw but at least in the present we are reading she doesn't and has never loved the king. She says she does but it's obvious that she only wants to be with him because she thinks she is better than everyone else and should be the main character who stands at the top. Everyone should be calling her out on her bullshit excuses but instead they just feel bad for her even after she keeps doing awful things to everyone else.
Towards the end it was essentially just repeating the same scenes over and over again. You could skip at least 20 chapters and not miss anything.
