Love over brother complex. This is a gorgeous manga that had me seriously on the edge of my seat. Plenty of other manga would have cliche or very common ways of getting a couple together or separating them or even just complying with all wants of a character, but here is different. It's unique in the way where we see the growth of a singular person. Though the growth is odd, Airi still tackles his own troubles and he overcomes them, a proper depiction of some kind of character growth. I do think it could have been longer (even though it would make my heart PAIN) but I really like the huge difference between Itsuki and Airi, their personalities and confidence in themselves really contrast and I think that's why there wasn't as much emphasis on Itsuki's story in the manga, he's got his life pretty much figured out in terms of accepting himself, especially since in the end no one's really hating him for it except for that one guy at the theatre and that one guy who called him girly, and even then he stands up for himself when Airi is unable to and beats up that fucking kid. I feel like Airi is hesitant because of his worries about how his actions would affect how people would view him and how he views himself while Itsuki just wants to live his life because he knows who he is. It's different people dealing with different turmoils at different points of self-confidence, even if your self-confidence is impacted by your secret love for your brother... In the end, Airi becomes impulsive and goes off into a wedding ring shop to buy a ring for Itsuki, even questioning why he ended up buying a ring for himself from the guy selling at the side. An action pretty similar with Itsuki cutting his hair or throwing beer onto that guy, he acted based on what he wanted and not what others would think. This is is a wack analysis on a wack-ass brother complex love story but I really like the dynamic and character study of the two. Itsuki is a bad bitch and i love him for it. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
