I think that it’s considered disrespectful for anyone in the harem to sleep with anyone other than the padishah so Shuruka watched once for Tei to know how to do it safely and that was an exception that the pink haired guy assumed he now had Shuruka’s favor and could do whatever he wants. Shuruka only sought him out the first time cause he’s the only male concubine and wanted to know how men have sex. I suspect the pink haired guy has some relation to Shuruka’s mother and that’s why he didn’t kill him.
