Well idk what kind of manhwas u've been reading cus i admittedly havent read a whole lot, but isnt this also a case for guys who are close w the mc? Like, everyone whose close with the mc gets instant protection regardless of gender(most of the time) Bc i dont think ive seen this trend of women not dying bc of some stupid reason..

Tho, by 'stupid reason' do u mean that, im saying this cus its a common case, when women who r potrayed weak yet somehow still survives and its bc theyre close to the mc? You also mentioned 'kept alive' which leads me to think they wouldve depended on the mc for survival.. and all those cliche stuff. If that were the case i dont see how that applies to this manhwa. Because the girl that got killed wasnt even close w giryeo, and seeyeon is not 'weak' by any means. Weak willed in her own abilities sure but she is not wholly dependent on him. Obviously this is going off by my assumption, and my limited lists.

im not misogynistic its just how men write women that i hate (i blame men for everything, why would i hate my girlies (except for the homophobes and pickmes))

example is theres this manhwa where the mc is supposedly ruthless and kills everyone on site and then decided to spare a woman who is drawn in a way that draws the male gaze, also one where the mc spared a woman because of "i can change her" but then kills a dude even though he's more likely to change than the woman

just 2 examples on top of my head, there's more but i'd rather not
sucks that most of them have great art too















also even though some plots/lore are well written logic goes down the drain the moment they introduce "romance", chemistry doesnt even exist and so obvious the moment the girl is introduced, OUT OF NOWHERE too
