Dark romance includes psychological aspects of either the storyline or the characters. both of the characters are unlikable and the story is too frustrating that its not fun anymore. usually with cases like this its just one character and people stick around for that character hoping for the best and the plot would at least entertaining and suspenseful. not saying thats for everyone because it clearly doesnt apply to you but you asked why and thats why theres so many people including me
