Okay… poor characters need to stop being secretive with rich boyfriends. Especially if the people coming after you are already sketchy and your BF is dangerous too. Just let him deal with it! (Can anyone recommend stories that actually just let the dangerous BF take care of things right away with no secrets?)

I like the oblivious to feelings phase, as long as they don’t get mean and violent when they start figuring it out. Just accept it and don’t make the baby upset.
