Reason Why I like it:
• Because the male lead is fine as hell.
• Its not only about their love story, it also shows how broken people can be and how they deal with their trauma and how much pain they went through. Though that pain the development of the characters its more meaningful.
• and it made me contemplate on whatever they should end up together or stay far away from each other.
General Thought: I originally watched the anime pero na bitin ako kaya I decided to read the manga. Am so glad that i read it because i felt more connected to the characters that the anime didn't give me, it give me a chance to understand the characters better. I love it their is more deep to it now that i finish the manga.
After i finish both the anime and manga the first thing that come to mind was -Horimiya- because its the complete opposite of this story unlike horimiya this story has a lot of misunderstanding between the two main leads but that is one of the reasons why i like it.
2026 here, just finished the last chapter. I'm happy to read the author message because it gives me the reassurance that all that pain and misunderstanding is not just for fun but for the characters them self. I feel so proud that I understand the journey even if it's painful.
Thanks for this honest review. Tbh nabitin din ako sa anime but based on the reviews I read in the past (about ML being a red flag) I didn't feel like reading the manga. But based on your last bullet point, I feel compelled to read it since the conflict feeling is something I remember feeling for another anime as well (i still remember the feeling but I forgot the anime and what it was about).
Tho it's shojo, I prefer mangas/anime with indebt characters that I could connect to

I totally understand it's really discouraging kung nabasa mona Yong ibang comment or opinion of other readers but I highly recommend it for you to also finish the manga. It's worth it! The connection and little details on the manga given the story more deep.
