its how toxic relationships work unfortunately. these two are an extremely realistic representation actually if you think about the loads of couples irl who put up with their mentally or sometimes even physically abusive partners. It’s upsetting because its real.

I get where your coming from but he didn’t make Dohu physically bleed, Dohu did that to himself in response to Juheon attempting to push Dohu way via being a general asshole. It’s not great, I 100% agree with you there, but I’m putting this in the frame of mind that Dohu believes Juheon is going through something and needs his support.

You might have had someone in your life who is mentally ill, or has horrible circumstances who’s hurt you in response to that, in order to push you away. Of course it’s definitely not anyone’s responsibility to put up with that crap, but when you love someone, you put up with it because you think that they need you and that they’re worth it in the end.

I don’t think it’s tasteless to include this type of relationship in the manhwa or any fictional setting for that matter, it’s actually pretty realistic. Unfortunately, relationships aren’t ever flawless, but that’s just how humans be I guess. I don’t blame either of them, but Juheon def needs therapy stat.
