I would not have minded at all if there were another 100 chapters. But I'm very happy with how it ended. The creators knew not to drag it on til it went bad.

When that bitch started talking about killing Cecile, my protective instincts kicked in. I thought, "someone best kill her before she ruins the story"
If they had gone the route of the author taking over Cecile's body, I would've 1st stopped reading this. & 2nd, even though I have zero talent for writing, would've somehow created some fanfic side story dedicated to forcing her out to save Original Cecile. So that Estian & Cecile could have their happy ending.
But thankfully, that didn't happen.
Still not happy about the rescue being skipped over like it wasn't relevant to the story. Like give me some flashbacks as Estian asks Cecile how she was able to do it. Since so many Ceciles died before her trying to do it. I'm salty as hell. The way they cut to the bedroom scene had me thinking, "DAMN IT ALL! They died & this is the afterlife." That doesn't seem to be the case. We just gonna pretend like it never happened. HUH? HUUUUUUH?...
All the back story. All that build up. And you skipped over climax?!!
The author is definitely that lover that finishes before their partner. Plops down beside them & says, "Was it good for you?" Partner be laying there with a bewildered expression, thinking, " HELL NAH" But is so defeated answers with a yes.
I still can't bring myself to hate this story. I love it too much.

I feel the same way. For so many chapter we have waited for that scene where cecile successfully saves the emperor (While the other ceciles couldn't) and then they just gon skip that part and don't show some explanations like how did cecile really live? What happened to the other ceciles? What happens with emperor now that the whole experimentation is in his body. I NEED SOME MORE EXPLANATION. And then they are now happy and now inserts another conflict (while the other was left hanging.)
P.S. I'm not complaining about new hottie just want some clarifications

on the over done going into a novel story. The author/FL isn't transmigrated or reincarnated into the novel. The ML comes through a portal into her world & pulls her into her novel. It's a refreshing story line. Kudos to it's creator. I won't divulge anymore. Hopefully this is enough intrigue to get you you read this.
I'm literally checking the latest updates hourly hoping for some new chapters. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but definitely checking every day.

The sea dragon's hero's story broke my heart. I wish they could've returned to his world & lived happily ever after. But this is not a fairy tale. So their love story ended rather tragically.
While the hero of depression's story was sad, he took a dark path. While the sea dragon hero & her man were forced upon it. So it hit me a little harder. And her sea dragon was a total hottie. I would've turned evil if I couldn't see his human form anymore.
