kimi ni todoke (shoujou fluff high school slice of life romance)
sukkite ii na yo (high school romance cute good for newbies)
chihayafuru (high school, sports, a lil romance, great art work)
dakaretai otoko 1 i ni odosareteimasu (bl)
haikyuu!! (sports, funny af)
hotarubi no mori e (for the crying and the feels, beautiful)
i want to eat your pancreas (again, you gonna cry)
anohana the flower we saw that day (crying again but all three have the same feel as koe no katachi? idk how to explain)
kamisama kiss (kinda classic)
my hero academia (more shounen action)
no game no life (great art, interesting plot and characters, a little exhi tho)
skip beat (on the older side but still a great watch)
akagami no shirayuki hime (amazing for newbies, romance, greaaat art, historical setting)
soredemo sekai wa utsukushii (romance and historical as well + fantasy)
or vampire knight is a great pic for beginners as well
