is the mc still on her naive and denial phase? does she still think that there’s no way ogfl could actually be evil?
the early chapters were so cute when it wasn’t really focused on romance and more of fl and ogfl’s cute bonding. don’t get me wrong tho, i wouldn’t mind romance if only the author didn’t make every single boys fell in love with mc. and i mean EXACTLY every single one of them. like they interacted ONCE and magically there’s spark on the boys’ side (no deeper writing or anything) and mc remains OBLIVIOUS and of course not setting boundaries either. it’s very much giving self insert which i hate it.
the artstyle is soooo drop dead gorgeous but i’m still mourning the fact that the manhwa isn’t smut. i usually don’t mind when artists do this but this one… in the novel their tension, chemistry, and relationship development are mostly built up through their sex scenes so it’s such a big loss :c
idk maybe cause i’m on my red day rn but i don’t remember the mc being this annoying the first time i read this, so useless and no backbone lmao. he’s like those type of y/n who’s always all talk but actually can do nothing against bullies and only manages to survive because the ceo and bodyguard saved him. talk about damsel in distress.
and don’t get me started about the mls… not only their obsession so far feels so shallow and has no depth meaning, the fact that the author tried to whitewash sexual assault also threw me off #－.－)
based on prologue the duke is most likely the main li, which i hate it cause it’s already chapter 50+ and so far he’s got the LEAST chemistry with mc imo ;—; i want johan to be the endgame (he has the most interesting background and lore for me) but i’ll be fine with the crown prince cause at least his character is different from other cold city namja mls out there and he got decent chemistry + screentime with mc. the duke on the other hand…..
maybe cause we haven’t seen much about his character background too but well, IF he’s really the endgame i hope the author will make him get deeper writing and decent reasons for mc to end up choosing him otherwise it’ll be another slop :/
I love lily and edgar so much bro i’m so maternal with them. I need them both to be happy together in this lifetime (platonic or romantically), DON’T EVER SEPARATE THEM. idc whether they end up being in relationship or not i just want them to be happy with their loved ones :(
at the very least he did decide to move on from his so called first love before realizing she is rine instead of going with the cliche ‘oh my first love turns out to be my wife so i don’t have to move on, we’re destined to be together’ route or another annoying misunderstanding :/ that’s like the bare minimum but i’ll take it ig. agree with other comments tho, he still gotta beg for forgiveness.
originally wanted to drop it right after THE EMPEROR aka ml was KNEELING in front of her brother but decided to keep reading cause the art is so pretty. but damn, the story is so cringe and bad written. it’s like written by a middle schooler who knows NOTHING about historical setting… no proper mannerism etc etc. basically a slop.

the problem is that he IS still looking for that person (yes present not past tense), he said himself that he’s sincere towards two different girls (we know it’s actually rine, but they don’t), he couldn’t explain when she asked, and again in the latest chapter he said that he hasn’t sorted out his feelings.
what do yall expect rine to do? tell tarkan to keep looking for that girl and that if he ever finds her she’ll welcome her as his mistress with an open arms..???
