Looking at past seasons of the story, it is evident that the ML does not know how to approach his own emotions due to his upbringing. While the MC had to repress his emotions altogether to survive, and considering that love is a whole new concept to both of them. Some might argue, "I should check my moral compass, I think this story is good." It means that you guys are still all right. I will not justify everything that happened to them, and their relationship with other Leads, however, we must look at the story and how the context (world building) of the story shapes the emotions and characteristics of every character. That way, we can enjoy the story (and maybe other stories as well, using this mindset) in a more subjective light. (≧∀≦)
Am re-reading this, and no matter how guilty you are, I'll still sever your head in all of the world's possibilities.
