Imma be honest, I don't like Ludovico. From what I saw she wants power (nothing wrong with that, but it's the way she wants it) that's why she picked the emperor instead of johannes, and said how she wants a man who'll give her the world instead of a light purple rose. What made me not like her is when she told johannes to go to war with the emperor if he truly loved her, like she wants chaos in a sense, and also the fact that she asked the duke (the brother of the consort of the emperor) to take care of her son. I understand that there were only few she cud trust but why him???? (We'll probs find out later ig). She feels manipulative.
And I saw a comment that said Johannes decided to confess his love to her after she became empress, the way I see it is he decided to confess cause she was taken by another man, a man more powerful than him, rather than her position.
This is what I feel, could be wrong so don't take it personally ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Can someone tell me at what point in the novel we're in??? I know there's a comment here saying that but in the novel I've got, the chapter the person has specified is not the spot
