Am I the only one who can't hate even a single character in this manga? I mean, idk it's like... they all have reasons as to "why" they're like that or why they're acting like that and I can't seem to find the reasons to hate them and I hate it so much because it mentally hurts me because I simply don't know who to side with ┗( T﹏T )┛ if Fitzgerald didn't say THAT then I would've had atleast one reason to hate him but what in the actual hell was that ok someone console me pls or just murder me instead thank (btw need more Oikawa and Tsukishima) *cough* jk
Why do you need permission to like or side with a character? Enjoy what you enjoy and don't apologize.

I don't understand why people say Hiyori is not important/the least important character in the series. Firstly, we are reading her point of view. We, readers, are consuming every information through her. She's the bridge. The esophagus. The fallopian tube. There won't be Noragami without her. Second, she has saved almost everyone in the series despite the fact that she's JUST A MERE HUMAN. For example, Yukine would've died (or rather... double died) if it wasn't for her. Or... Bishamon and Yato would probably still be in the underworld with Izanami right now if it wasn't for her. She has done more than just being your ideal badass female lead. If it wasn't for her, this Noragami series would've ended a long time ago. Third, people say that she's useless and she can't do anything. She always gets her ass saved by everyone, of course! What could a mere high school girl do against gods and phantoms and regalias? Atleast she can do jungle savate against not-too-powerful phantoms. 15 year olds irl would be running, hiding, crying and shouting for help or probably pass out or die in front of those weird looking creatures. She can't be as badass as Bishamon. She's just a half-dead human being. It's okay to hate her because she's annoying to most of you because it's a personal issue, it's your personal observation (though I don't exactly know what's so annoying about her) but hating her because she's useless or less important? People who love Hiyori wouldn't just respect and accept that opinion. Actually, opinions shouldn't be respected. Opinions don't deserve respect in the first place especially if that opinion offended, or hurt someone because merely stating your opinion is already disrespecting others who do not approve of it. Stating your opinion that you hate Hiyori is already a disrespectful move against the people who like/love her. So please, if you say that you hate Hiyori then atleast make your reasons sound more personal (that's why it's called OPINION) and more acceptable (tho you're just stating your opinion and you wouldn't care if people accept it or not and if that's actually the case then don't expect people to respect it) by most people if you want them to respect your opinion. I hope you understand and get my point and I'm sorry for saying such things.
Hiyori is annoying character because she also give a lot of shit to yato and yukine and not only saving them but sometimes indangering them too. And some times does useless shit too. But I don't think people should hate on her she is just annoying and what you're saying about not respecting opinion is a bullshit. How am I should know if my opinion is going to be respected or not??? Some people will agree and disagree and that ok because it's normal...becaus what you are saying is this: let's say there is a girl on the magazine cover and my best friend likes her but I hate her and so I tell him: - I tnhink she's unpretty, but you can still like her.... (I was respectful and instead of ugly I sayed she is unpretty) but plz try to tell that to him because what he understood is that to me she is ugly... do you understand what I mean????? The person wouldn't care if I sayed strait away if she is ugly or unpretty he would still understand that I don't like her.... that's why your statement is bullshit...

True, but that wasn't my intention. I was trying to say that it doesn't mean anything because there will always people who will disagree or get butthurt and you can't do anything about it because that will always happen cuz people are different and respect dosent mean shit....

Personally for me I just hate Hiyori for a couple of reasons.1:her borderline tsundere-ness ( I guess that's what you could call it) by that I mean how she hits Yato when he says certain things and I know it's for comic relief or whatever but it's just plain mean.2:I know it changed but back in the early days of noragami she always criticised Yato for being lazy,like what do you expect the dude to do if no one calls him? It's not like he hasn't advertised his number and service and gods can't really have normal jobs.3:her inability to fight,I know that she's not supposed to be a fighting character but the annoying part for me is how she knows that and yet she still try's to fight,it's like Sakura from Naruto,she became a medical ninja because she couldn't fight,I'd be fine with both of them if they just stuck to what they can do instead of keep trying to fight when they both know they can't and Hiyori knowing like two wrestling moves doesn't count,that's like saying just because you can punch and kick means you're automatically good at fighting.4:Her obliviousness,I just hate characters who are oblivious,plain and simple.5:I don't know why but I just hate the fact that she feels like she needs to hide the fact that she likes wrestling from her parents,like it's not like she likes sacrificing animals or some weird shit like that,what? Are her parents going to ground her if they find out that she likes sports?6:This is a spoiler for the second season of noragami,that kiss,like first of all when she saw the guy getting close to her if she really didn't like him like that they why didn't she push him away?! And even somehow if she didn't see him people usually knows when someone is close to them,or if she really didn't want to push him why didn't she just duck away from him or say that she wants to go get some food or something and walk away from him?! And then after that she fricking exaggerates the whole thing,I get that you didn't like him like that but she was acting like he fricking raped her or something,I mean that's a bit much,honestly I think I would like noragami more if Hiyori was just one of those characters like Tomone,as in she still there but you hardly see her or you only see her if the show really needs her,otherwise she'd be like ash's mom,also I don't really get why it's told or rather seen from her perspective,Yato is the MC of the show so shouldn't it be more from his perspective? A lot of the time it seems like Hiyori is the MC and if she is then we don't know shit about her anime wise.
